A few more hours...

...and it's our weekend! ahhhhh, I thought this weekend would never come. It's been an especially long & stressful week already and I can't wait to get out of town for some R&R with my hubby. We have some very fun weekends coming up and I am so excited! Halloween is our next one!!

RFF: I have a sensory memory.

This is a very weird trait. The other day I was missing my sister & I could just picture what her cute little face felt like. It surprised me that I could remember it so distinctly- so then I tried my mom, my brother, and Jay. I could remember what all of their faces and hair felt like, and each of them different & unique textures. I touch Jay's face a lot, but I don't recall feeling up my mom, brother or sister's faces =) Is it because of years of looking at them? I found it very interesting. It made me happy. It's just like the sense of smell. I can pass a smell & pin point exactly what memory it brings me back to (like my Papa's woodshop, or my Bunny's sewing room, or my Mom's perfume). Or certain smells can evoke stong memories & emotions. I think the sense of smell is so incredible powerful. Yep, I'm weird.

RFF: Mr. Man is extremely picky when it comes to clothing. I can pretty much salvage any item & find it's redeeming value but he is ridiculously particular! He only likes certain colors, textures & items to wear. It is always a hoot to take him shopping...he had me cracking up hysterically last night. I have to beg him to try on certain clothing, and he will like (if I'm lucky) 1 out of about 15 things I pick out. It's hilarious to watch him walk out of the dressing room in the items he doesn't like!! He's really into the comfortable, surfer from california vibe. I'm his hippie chic, I love vintage clothing so we go together pretty good!

RFF: my dream job (if I could be really good at it) would be a college or pro football coach, or assistant coach, trainer, watergirl, or anything as long as it involves football...I would even be the person that picks up the sweat rags. I'd probably make more money doing that than I do now, maybe I should look into it =) Jay's would be coaching at the college or pro level for baseball. Someday I know he'll be a great leader & coach for a college team!!

RFF: Jay & I loooove banana peppers. There is just something about that sweet & spicy goodness that is so delicous. We have some growing out in our garden right now & I can't wait to whip up a dish full of them. YUM!Happy Friday!!

RFF: I've never broken a bone before. Jay broke his hand once. He didn't know it was broken for about a week. Yep, he walked around using a broken hand for a week. He was in college & I still think he's crazy for not knowing. He kept complaining it hurt & I finally made him go to the doctor. Talk about high pain tolerance!

RFF: Today is my Grandparents 53rd Anniversary!! Fifty-three years... wow what a long & happy life they have led. We are so lucky to be a part of it. Their love is an amazing example & I hope that one day Jay & I are as happy as they are now, after years & years of love. Happy Anniversary Bunny & Papa!! We love you very much <3

RFF: I love grape jelly on my PB & J. Mr. Man likes strawberry. Sometimes, when we are really feeling mischevious, we'll give nemo a scoop of peanut butter & watch him run around licking his lips (in silence, ahhh) for an hour :) hehe. He loves peanut butter!!!

RFF: Mr. Man is a highly skilled & stratigical competitor. There are only 3 things in the history of our relationship (&the world) that I can beat him at.

1. The radio game. When you scan the channels & land ona song & be the first to identify the artist/song.
2. The Gator/Gopher family football game. Keep in mind this is a team effort (can you tell I'm stretching for something here?!?!) that being said-the girls always win fair & square against the guys in football. Weird? yes. Go Gators!!!
3. Checkers.

I have never won another game against him. This includes board games, card games, video games, athletic games, and most bets we make. Checkers is always my game of choice :) It's the only game I can out smart, out think & out play him at. I like to say it's because you actually your your mind playing it :)

RFF: Mr. Man makes up words. a lot. The best part is, he doesn't know he's saying them wrong & it's freakin hilarious. It gets me crackin up. I love it :) It doesn't happen too often, but when it does it's the funniest thing. He's totally serious about it too-he'll say the word completely wrong and keep a straight face. For example, he uses the word "nuzzle" for nozzle (like a spray nozzle on a hose). Secretly, I think he just likes to make up his own vocabulary!! Those of you who have been lucky enough to witness this know what I'm talking about. Love my husband.


Hehe. Here's a picture to get you through the workday...It's finally Friday!! YES. My Dad is taking me out for my birthday lunch today & we are going to Manny's...YUM! I'm looking forward to the weekend but it sure is going to be hectic. Can't wait to see all of my friends tonight and go out for some long over-due fun!
