whew! these last few weeks have really gone by fast and it's been a little bit of a whirlwind for us. we are finishing up some organization items for our house and it feels good to finally get things in place, and be in the same house!! we shopped at target last night to purchase leftover furniture items and fun things on our registry so we'll spend part of saturday putting things together and setting up. friday night we are headed to the twins game :)
my new job has been great so far--i love what i do and i feel like i am in the right place. of course the best part is my new paycheck! it's really been a blessing and a sigh of relief, and it allows us the opportunity to do things that weren't possible before...like travel! we are just starting to plan a trip out east to the cape cod area and will be driving up the coast. jay's always wanted to visit boston so that will be a for sure stop. sounds like a pretty good way to celebrate a promotion, eh??
